I haven't posted in a while. So I thought I would update everyone.
I moved 2 months ago. New city, new laws and less restrictions on animals. So I am thinking about getting a few more chickens. When I moved in here there was nothing but burnt up dead grass. And within 3 weeks it was lush and green. Ridiculously so. So the hens are happy to be able to eat greens and fertilize them too.
The rats are doing well. Its not breeding season, as its the hottest time of the year. But its close so I put some pairs together. Usually I'll have babies in September, so I should be right on schedule with that.
My adopters have been really supportive of my move. And I am close to my old house, which I rented out. So not much difference in drive times for everyone. I just love this rat community here. Everyone is great!
Since I am the only rattery in Colorado I am over whelmed by the amount of people wanting babies. Its too bad they all have to wait. Sorry folks. Rats just wont breed in the heat. But I am bad a wait lists so please contact me once you see babies you like.
Anyway, thanks for the support and I will continue to be here if you need me.
